MHK in STL is now MK Lately.
I hope you all welcome the change…because I am thrilled about this new direction.
‘MHK in STL’ was the perfect name for the little blog that began for the purpose of documenting my first days as a student at Saint Louis University. Sharing my days under the arch has become one of my most favorite past times…and blogging here has turned into more than I could have ever imagined…
Partnerships and collaborations with brands + creatives both local and beyond have helped keep my dreams for MHK in STL, now MK Lately, alive. Thank you all so very much for sharing in my excitement during these fun collaborations and for supporting the brands that make this blog come to life. I can’t wait to share more of my favorite brands and products with you here on MK Lately.
Through the years, MHK in STL became a true love of mine. Documenting adventures, styles, events, favorite things, and doing it all with those that I love (including all of you readers) has been such a joy…one that has most certainly turned into a passion.
With so many changes coming my way…my college years coming to an end (what?!), post-grad life on the horizon, and more…STL will always have a place in my heart. However, I want my creative space on the Internet to last far beyond my studies at SLU or time spent in this wonderful city. This, among many other reasons, is why I have decided to retire MHK in STL and rebrand as MK Lately.
Hopefully this transition will become more clear and will happen more naturally as time goes on (I realize a blog post explaining my decision probably won’t clear up all questions/wonderments) However, I hope that this little piece of wisdom shared with me via a coffee mug can help ease minds and understandings for the time being:
Recently my very best friend gave me the coffee mug that appears in the picture above. It reads,
“Be the Leslie Knope of whatever you do.”
If you’re a fan of Parks & Recreation like I am, you probably understand and appreciate this short and sweet line. Leslie pours her whole heart and soul into whatever she does. I promise to do the same as MHK in STL evolves into MK Lately. With so many opportunities and inspirations on the horizon, I hope to create only the best for you here…and share with you candidly as I take each coming change with as much grace and creative spirit as possible.
Thank you for reading, thank you for sticking with me; Keep an eye out for the official switch to my new domain, mklately.com!
So much love, xo.
