I AM SO EXCITED THAT IT’S FALL, GUYS. Not only is it my birthday season and the season for the best fashion, but it’s also the best time of year to be in college: football games, the start of basketball season, and the days that require more than one trip to Starbucks.

If you’re a STL native, or a SLUdent for that matter, you’ve heard of and fell in love with Eckert’s Farm, a definite fall staple. This past weekend I had the opportunity to take a trip over to their darling pumpkin patches and snack on apples from their orchard with my Delta Gamma sisters. It was a fall dream to say the least. The rolling hills, plump pumpkins and gorgeous views demanded a photo-op…and I couldn’t refuse. I’ve been working with a Nikon 5100 lately, and it was the perfect camera for a day of fall adventure. While we were busy riding the tractor-pulled trolleys and shopping the famous Eckert’s country store, I stopped to take a few pictures of my favorite things about fall, including one of my go-to print combinations…plaid and stripes!

What I’m wearing:  Tommy Hilfiger striped pullover (sold out) // Target plaid vest (they have a variety of choices in stores now!) // Tory Burch booties (similars here & here…more budget-friendly version here // Old Navy bucket bag

I arrived back to SLU with apple donuts (not gluten free, but worth it…trust me), apple cider, and of course, a few too many hand-picked apples. What are your favorite things about fall? Ps…if you have any fall recipes…I’d love to hear about them! Thanks for reading! xo, MK
